First Friday Adoration & Holy Hour

This month First Friday is on the second Friday. We are having 1st Reconciliation on February 3rd.

The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed from 8:00am on Friday until 7:45 am on Saturday. Holy Hour and Benediction is scheduled for 7:00 pm Friday.

This is a wonderful opportunity to come to Jesus, spend time in prayer with Him, to give thanks for the many blessings in our lives, and to lay our burdens down before him.

All are welcome.

Recycling Saturday

Recycling is held the second Saturday of each month from 7:00 am to noon, rain or shine!

Please bring your newspapers, aluminum cans, glass and plastic bottles (no caps). We also take magazines and phone books.

The monthly food drive here at Santiago happens on the second weekend of every month. In order to generate new parishioner participation, we are trying something different.

On the last weekend of every month, The Knights of Columbus collect diapers for Birth Choice and Toby's House. Please bring a package of diapers (any size or brand) to any Mass. The Knights will then deliver them to those two charities.

7:30 pm Easter Vigil

The Vigil begins at 7:30 pm on April 7th in the parking lot near the parish hall. The Vigil is a culmination of studies for our Catechumens and Candidates. Replicating the Church of old, they will receive the Sacraments of Initiation and be fully integrated into the Catholic faith.

The Vigil is liturgically developed to not only bring these new Catholics into our faith, but to remind us of our responsibilities as Catholic Christians. The Vigil has six (6) distinct parts:

1. The Service of Light - begins in the parking lot
2. Liturgy of the Word - delivered by procession to the Church and proclaimed there.
3. Celebration of Baptism - in church
4. Celebration of Confirmation - in church
5. Renewal of Baptismal Vows - proclaimed in church
6. Liturgy of the Eucharist - in church

Please come early and assemble in the parking lot as the church will be closed and darkened.
