Reconciliation

Weekly Confessions are heard on Saturdays from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Twice during the year, during Advent and Lent, we host a Penance Service where several area priests along with our own priests join together to hear the confessions of the faithful in preparation for the Christmas and Easter celebrations.

In order for a child to make their First Reconciliation before they can receive their First Eucharist they must be enrolled in, and have completed the first year of Religious Education.  Please contact Maryann Humbert, Director of R.E. to find out how to enroll your child at 949-951-0792.

6 STEPS FOR A GOOD CONFESSION
  1. 1.  Examine your conscience - what sins have you committed sinch your last   good confession?
  1. 2.  Be sincerely sorry for your sins.
  2. 3.  Confess your sins to the priest.
  3. 4.  Make certain that you confess all your mortal sins and the number of them.
  4. 5.  After your confession, do the penance the priest gives to you.
  5. 6.  Pray daily for the strength to avoid the occasion of sin, expecially for those sins you were just absolved from.

 Act of Contrition

Oh my God, I am sorry for my sins.  In choosing to sin and failing to do good, I have sinned against You and Your Church.  I firmly intend with the help of Your Son to make up for my sins, and to love as I should.  Amen
