Service Projects

 

 

Here are some ideas for service projects:

 

Isaiah House:  The house is recently reopened.  The remodeling is completed.  Once again you may work at Isaiah House for service hours.  Call Isaiah House at 714-835-6304.  They do neet your help.  Although Kathy Denny will no longer be taking groups of students, you are welcome to call and arrange your own.

 

Lake Forest Nursing Home:  Kathy Denny will be arragning some group projects/visits to the nursing home in the coming months.  If you are interested in completing community service hours, call the YM office to make arrangements to join her.

 

Recycling takes place the second Saturday of every month.  Come to the lower parking lot from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.  No need to register - just show up.

 

Call the Corazon warehouse in Laguna Hills to help organize the materials for house builds in Mexico.  Call 949-830-7494.  Please remember to always take the form from the handbook or online to get signed and credited for your service.  Also remember to write a few sentences of reflection on what you learned from the service project experience.
