Social Justice

The purpose of the Social Justice Committee of Santiago de Compostela is to encourage prayer and one on one ministry to those in need.  This ministry also provides opportunities to educate the members of the parish regarding the position of the Catholic Church on Social Justice Issues and to encourage advocacy based on Catholic social teaching and biblical principles.  People who want to do something at the parish level, to promote prayer, ministry, education and advocacy for the least fortunate among us are invited to join this ministry.
