Weddings

In order to be married at Santiago Church, either the bride or groom must be registered with the parish.  To get the process started, the engaged couple must meet with the priest, or deacon, of their choice at least six months prior to when they wish to be married.  At that first meeting the priest or deacon will set the wedding date with the couple.  Before the wedding, the couple will have to participate in either the Marriage In The Lord program or Catholic Engaged Encounter, and will complete three meetings with their priest/deacon.  To arrange to meet with the priest or deacon, please call the Parish Office at 949-951-8599.

Only the officient (priest or deacon) can set the wedding date and time.  This will occur at the first meeting with the engaged couple.  Weddings are held on Saturdays at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 2:00 pm.

For registered couples who have been civilly married but have yet to celebrate the sacrament of marriage in the Church, a Validation may be performed by either a deacon or priest.  Please call the Parish Office for more details.
